 This Release Form must be completed and signed before receiving your Season Pass.

The undersigned, in consideration of the issuance and use of the above identified Season Pass, agree as
the following: a) A Season Pass is non-transferable and non-refundable; b) Season Pass Holder must present
Pass to the Ticket Checker at each lift before boarding; c) Lost or stolen passes must be reported to the
Ticket Office. A replacement pass may be issued for a $40.00 replacement fee; d) A one-time only "I forgot"
or "I Lost" my pass, daily ticket will be issued free of charge. After the first incident, a replacement pass must
be purchased or a regular price daily ticket; e) Mt. Spokane reserves the right to change its tentative open/
close dates and operating hours, as well as determine the number of lifts in operation and terrain available for
use on any given time; f) Mt Spokane 2000 has the right to use any photo’s taken by Mt Spokane Staff or Agents
in any media of their choosing; g) Mt. Spokane reserves the right to cancel a pass for failure to comply with
regulations set herein and/or disregard for the safe use of lifts, terrain, and/or other facilities at the area. This
includes but is not limited to reckless or excessive speed, skiing or snowboarding outside the ski area boundary
as well as staying within the ski area boundary after Trail Closing Procedures (TCP) begins by the Ski Patrol, and
re-entering the ski are boundary after TCP.
The Pass Holder agrees that he/she has read and will obey the Skier's and Snowboarder's Responsibility Code,
which reads:
1.
Ski or snowboard under control and such a manner you can stop or avoid others or objects.
2. When proceeding downhill or overtaking another skier or snowboarder, you must avoid the person(s) below you.
3. You must not stop where you obstruct a trail, or are not visible from above.
4. When entering a trail or starting downhill, yield to others.
5. Everyone shall use retention straps or other devices to help prevent runaway skis or snowboards.
6. You shall keep off closed trails and posted areas and observe all posted signs.
7. No inverted aerial jumps.
This is just a partial list. Be safety conscious.
The Season Pass Holder understands and acknowledges that the law of Washington State provides that
all skiers and snowboarders shall conduct themselves within the limits of their ability, shall ski and snowboard
under control at all times, shall not act in a manner that they may contribute to the injury of themselves or
any other person; that any person who boards a lift is presumed to have a sufficient abilities to do so; that
each person is the sole judge of his or her skiing or snowboarding ability; that all skiers and snowboarders
shall exercise reasonable care for their own safety; and that the person above, the person on foot, has the
duty to avoid collisions. (CHAPTER 70.117RCW) Washington State Law prohibits: Leaving the scene of a skiing
accident without obtaining assistance or notifying authorities; Skiing or snowboarding in a closed area, riding
a closed lift, or skiing or snowboarding outside ski are boundaries, interfering with the safe operation of a lift;
Loading or unloading a lift at other that designated crossing; Throwing or dropping of any object from a lift
including littering; Failing to follow verbal or written instructions for lift use, skiing or snowboarding near
towers, equipment vehicles and other obstacles. Season Pass Holder understands and agrees that skiing and
snowboarding is a hazardous sport and that bare spots variations in snow, ice, unpredictable terrain, bumps,
moguls, stumps, forest growth, debris, rocks, and other hazards or obstacles exist within the Mt. Spokane
Ski Area. In using the Pass and Skiing or Snowboarding at Mt. Spokane Ski Area, the Pass Holder assumes
such danger, whether marked or unmarked.
The undersigned hereby RELEASES AND HOLDS HARMLESS, Mt. Spokane 2000 and the Washington State
Park and Recreation Commission, and its, owners, agents and employees from any and all claims and liability
for injury, loss, or damages, resulting from the use of the area's facilities, slopes, and lifts. Furthermore,
I have read and fully understand the above contract, rules and regulations. (If under 18 years old, BOTH
minor and parent/guardian signatures required)
