Kan Jam Freestyle Festival
 

Mt. Spokane is proud to announce the fifth annual Kan Jam Freestyle Festival, taking place at the mountain on February 10th, 11th, & 12th, 2012.  Events include a Rail Jam, Slopestyle, and Big Air contests.  Skiers and snowboarders of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to compete for prizes and bragging rights!  Sponsored by Kokanee, Monster Energy, The Shop, Pistole Lifestyle & Skate Shop, Escape Outdoors, 4FRNT Skis, Mountain Gear, Swix, Clif Bar, & Market Vision.  21+ enjoy $3.25 Kokanee pints and $3 Monster cans on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.


Rail Jam – Friday, February 10th, 6pm – Bunny Hill

The first event is slated for Friday, February 10th, at 6pm on Ego Flats (also known as the Bunny Hill) just above the deck of the Foggy Bottom Lounge.  Competitors slide & jib features such as rails and boxes to put together the best run to win! 

Slopestyle – Saturday, February 11th, 11am – Half Hitch Terrain Park
Saturday’s slopestyle event takes place in the Terrain Park up on Half Hitch.  Competitors cruise through the park hitting rails, boxes, and jumps to put together the best run to win.  Spectators may watch from the course; must have skis or snowboards to ride lift to view.  Check out the Monster Energy demo crew up in the park on Saturday!

Big Air – Sunday, February 12th, 11am – Lamonga Terrain Park
Sunday’s event closes the Kan Jam with the Big Air event on Lamonga.  Go big & stylish to win!  Best trick and biggest air takes the cake!  Choice of two hits: big air or huge air.


Entry fees are $15 for one event, $30 for two events, and if you do all three events, we'll pick up the entry fee on the third, so you can compete in all three events for just $30 bucks.  All competitors qualify for reduced price $15 lift tickets.  Must wear helmets in all events!

Music by local talent on Friday & Saturday nights!  Voodoo Church Blues will be rocking to the beat of the Rail Jam on Friday night.  Spokane favorite Flying Mammals take the stage in the Foggy Bottom Lounge Saturday night at 5pm.  No cover charge.
