Mt. Spokane is proud to announce the sixth annual Kan Jam Freestyle Festival, taking place at the mountain on February 8th, 9th, & 10th, 2013.  Events include a Rail Jam, Slopestyle, and Big Air contests.  Skiers and snowboarders of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to compete for prizes and bragging rights!

Rail Jam – Friday, February 8th, 6pm – Bunny Hill
The first event is slated for Friday, February 8th, at 6pm on Ego Flats (also known as the Bunny Hill) just above the deck of the Foggy Bottom Lounge.  Competitors slide & jib features such as rails and boxes to put together the best run to win! 
Registration Ends: 5pm
Safety Meeting: 5:15pm Top of the course (Bunny Hill)
Course Inspection/Practice: 5:20pm-6:00pm, 40 minutes
Event: 6:00pm-8:00pm, 120 minutes
Format: Jam

Slopestyle – Saturday, February 9th, 11am – Half Hitch Terrain Park
Saturday’s slopestyle event takes place in the Terrain Park up on Half Hitch.  Competitors cruise through the park hitting rails, boxes, and jumps to put together the best run to win.  Spectators may watch from the course; must have skis or snowboards to ride lift to view. 
Registration Ends: 10:30am
Safety Meeting: 11:00am Top of the course (Terrain Park)
Course Inspection/Practice: 11:00am-12:00pm, 60 minutes
Event: 12:00pm-end
Format: Best two of three runs

Big Air – Sunday, February 10th, 11am – Lamonga Terrain Park
Sunday’s event closes the Kan Jam with the Big Air event on Lamonga.  Go big & stylish to win!  Best trick and biggest air takes the cake!  Choice of two hits: big air or huge air.  US Airbag jump participants receive $5 off Big Air entry.
Registration Ends: 10:30am
Safety Meeting: 11:00am Top of the course (Lower Naster Big Air Jump)
Course Inspection/Practice: 11:00am-11:30am, 30 minutes
Event: 11:30am-1:00pm, 90 minutes
Format: Jam

Entry fees are $15 for each event.  All competitors qualify for reduced price $15 lift tickets.  Must wear helmets in all events!
