Mt. Spokane Ski & Snowboard Park Opening Day
WHITE FRIDAY
Friday, November 25th
Mt. Spokane Ski & Snowboard Park has received significant
snowfall accumulation from the storms over the weekend and will be
firing up the chairlifts for the 2011/2012 winter season this Friday,
November 25th.
White Friday, as we are thrilled to call it, promises to afford excited winter sports enthusiasts excellent early season skiing and snowboarding conditions. As an alternative to the traditional shopping activities on Black Friday, our White Friday will provide doorbusters such as discounted lift tickets, untracked fresh powder and outstanding groomed corduroy runs, a new food & beverage menu and facility, and all of the turns that eager skiers and snowboarders can stomach after Thanksgiving day. No need to bust down the doors, the lifts start turning at 9am and there is enough great snow all over the mountain to go around!
Snow totals at the moment are over two feet at the
summit stake, and almost 24 inches at the base.
Special discounted pricing will be in effect for White Friday. Tickets will be discounted to $30 for adults and $25 for youth ages 7-17.
Normal hours of operation will be in effect. Lifts 2, 3, 4, & 5
will open at 9am, and continue operation through 4pm. Ticket windows
open at 8:30am. The Tubing Hill & Daycare will be closed on White Friday but open for the weekend.
For those still interested in shopping on White Friday, holiday gift ideas will be available on the mountain. Our Mt. Spokash cards can be loaded with any amount and used for tickets, food & beverage, lessons, rentals, retail, and more at Lodge 2. Also, our Stocking Stuffers discounted lift ticket packages offer adults 4 visits, college students 5 visits, or youth 6 visits for only $129. Call (509) 238-2220 x204 to order Mt. Spokash Cards or Stocking Stuffers.
Snowfall is expected to continue throughout the week. Bundle up in layers, bring the kids, and enjoy some winter fun (and hot cocoa in our newly remodeled cafeteria) at Mt. Spokane Ski & Snowboard Park!
Early season conditions do exist, please beware of hazards just below the surface, especially on off-piste terrain. Ski or ride with caution.
