Opening StatusBack to News»

Hello Mt. Spokane Friends and Family,
The staff and I wish you the very best as you gather together for Thanksgiving tomorrow. We are all Thankful for your support of the Mountain!
I wanted to give you an update on the status of opening the mountain. Right now, we are in a holding pattern. The last few days were warm and wet, and the lower elevations suffered from the “R” word (rain). We gained a few inches of snow this morning, but not enough to get us open Friday. The good news is, we have an ideal sub-base/base structure to build upon for the rest of the season.
The next significant snow event looks to be Friday 2-4” and Friday night 3-7”. If the higher end of those possibilities is realized we may be able to do a limited opening for Saturday and Sunday. Please check the website or the snowline before coming up, as we just won’t know until we see it on the ground.
We are all very excited to get the Mountain open and have everyone up to enjoy all the improvements that were made this summer!
Again, have a wonderful Thanksgiving, and before you fall asleep on the couch after that huge dinner…Give Us a Little SnowDance!
