Mt. Spokane Ski & Snowboard Park Opening Day

THIS SATURDAY
Saturday, November 23rd, 2013  9:00 am

Mt. Spokane Ski & Snowboard Park has been blessed with several early season storms and has received enough coverage to open this Saturday with the earliest opening and BEST opening day conditions seen in years.

Mt. Spokane staff will be firing up the chairlifts for the 2013/2014 winter season this Saturday, November 23rd at 9:00 am!  Normal hours of operation will be in effect.  Lifts 2, 3 and 5 will open at 9:00 am, and continue operation through 4:00 pm.

Special discounted pricing will be in effect for Opening Day.  Tickets will be discounted to just $30 for an Adult lift ticket and $20 for a Youth lift ticket (ages 7-17).

Ticket windows open at 8:30 am.  The Snow Sports Center will open early at 8:00 am to allow guests plenty of time to pick up season passes before the lifts start turning.

Operation will continue throughout the weekend, also featuring discounted $30 Adult and $20 Youth tickets on Sunday.

This is the first time Mt. Spokane has opened before Thanksgiving in recent memory.  A strong winter storm delivered up to 24” of fresh snow on the mountain last Saturday, leaving excellent coverage and spectacular early season conditions.

Mt. Spokane staff are very excited to share this season’s improvements to the Main Lodge, including brand-new restrooms, new ticket windows, free wi-fi access throughout the lodge and more.

The long-range forecast is looking very promising!  The once-forecasted El Nino has changed to a solid Neutral pattern in the Pacific Northwest, which for skiers and riders means healthy winter storms.

Stay tuned to www.mtspokane.com and Mt. Spokane’s social media channels on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube for the most up-to-date information on Opening Day.
