Make sure you see the Ski Area when arriving at the Tubing Hill!
There is another tubing hill on the way up the mountain at mile marker 15 – this is NOT Mt. Spokane Tubing Hill. Continue through the State Park entrance until you get to the very top. The tubing hill is located across from Lodge 1, the first Mt. Spokane Ski & Snowboard Park building that you see. When you see the Tubing Hill flags, find an available parking space and proceed upstairs to the cashier in Lodge 1 to pick up your tickets for your session.
TIME TO TUBE!
>How can I purchase Tubing Hill tickets?
Tubing tickets are NOT available for purchase over the phone. You can purchase anytime (and guarantee your spot!) by visiting store.mtspokane.com. A limited number of tickets are available for walk-in purchases on the hill, however sessions sell out often and walk-in tickets are not guaranteed.
How do I pick up my pre-purchased tickets?
If you purchased Tubing Hill tickets online, you may pick them up at the cashier on the upper floor of the Lodge 1. Let the Lodge 1 staff know that you’re picking up pre-purchased tubing tickets, and the name they were purchased under. All sliders must sign a liability release waiver either online or in person when they arrive.
I don’t want to miss my session – how soon before my session do I need to pick up my tickets?
We recommend arriving 30 to 45 minutes before your session starts so that you can pick up your tickets, get geared up, and down to the tubing hill in time. Lodge 1 is often crowded before the 10am and 1pm sessions, so please allow plenty of time.
I need to buy Tubing Hill tickets, where do I go?
You can buy Tubing Hill tickets on the mountain at Lodge 1 or in the Snow Sports Center, located in the lower level of the Main Lodge. Tubing tickets are not available at the ticket windows, please go inside! Sessions are limited however, and you may not receive a lift ticket for your chosen session. Tickets go on sale 30 minutes before the session begins.
Do I need to sign a liability release?
All tubers must sign a liability release waiver before tickets will be issued. You can print this out and bring with you to save time in the Snow Sports Center or complete online during the purchase process.
How do I get to the Children’s Choice Tubing Hill?
I’m at Mt. Spokane, where is the Tubing Hill?
Once you arrive at the Ski Area, you will see a ski lift and Lodge 1. The Tubing Hill is located across the street from Lodge 1. Head up to the upstairs of Lodge 1 cashier station to pick up your tickets, then you can make the short hike down to the Tubing Hill.
I’m confused, are there two tubing hills?
There is just one Mt. Spokane Children’s Choice Tubing Hill! There is another tubing hill on the way up to Mt. Spokane but it is NOT our Tubing Hill. For the best service, fun, and amenities continue to the Children’s Choice Tubing Hill at the top of the mountain.
Is the Tubing Hill open today?
How many people can tube during a single session?
For your enjoyment, the Tubing Hill is limited to 100 tubers during any single session depending on the snow levels. If you have more tubers in your party, a Private Reservation may accommodate more tubers.
Does it cost additional money to rent the tubes?
No, the tube rental is included in the session fee. Our inflatable tubes are comfortable and fun!
Can I bring my own tube or sled?
No, we provide tubes at no additional cost. Sledding is not allowed anywhere else within Mt. Spokane State Park.
Can we run and jump on the tubes?
Safety is our number one priority at the Children’s Choice Tubing Hill, followed very closely by fun! Although running and jumping are not allowed, staff will allow you to spin, help you push off, and have multiple tubes joined up if conditions allow. Please follow the attendants’ instructions and pay attention to signage.
Can I ride with another person?
Yes, riding double is allowed only if the second person is a child 42″ and under.
What ages are allowed on the Tubing Hill?
ALL ages are welcome to have fun on the Children’s Choice Tubing Hill! Young children 42″ and under must ride with a paid adult.
What should I wear for tubing?
You will be in a winter environment! We recommend insulating layers (no cotton!) and winter outerwear, which includes waterproof pants, jacket, and gloves. Jeans will get wet quickly and won’t be fun! A beanie to keep your head warm is also recommended. Helmets are not required.
Where can I get some food or hot cocoa and warm up?
The Children’s Choice Tubing Hill is located across the street from Lodge 1, which has a small restaurant including beer and wine. We have expanded food & beverage options located in the Main Lodge, just a short drive away from the Tubing Hill.
It’s really cold and windy, is the Tubing Hill open and will I be too cold?
The Children’s Choice Tubing Hill is located in a mountain environment, and conditions can change quickly. If you are visiting for a normally open session, we advise checking the Snow Report before your trip to verify that the hill is open. We will not run the Tubing Hill in dangerous conditions; if you dress for winter weather, you will be safe and have fun!
I have a group I’d like to bring up, do you provide group discounts?
Yes! For groups larger than 15, the discount is $2 per ticket, if all tickets are paid for in one transaction, for any normal tubing session. Your group leader can either use a single credit card or check, or collect cash from your group and pay, then distribute tickets to your group. Groups must be reserved and paid for in advance over the phone by calling (509) 238-2220 x0. Otherwise it’s first come, first served. The Tubing Hill can also be opened for Private Reservations anytime it is not normally open.
I can no longer tube on the day I purchased tickets for. Can I get a refund?
Yes, but only up to 24 hours before your chosen session. Given the popularity of the Tubing Hill, tickets are not refundable on the day of session purchased for. Call (509) 238-2220 x0 for a refund, or transfer to a different date.
